Review | Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi

#QOTD – If you get to time travel, whom would you want to meet?

Although I love my coffee cold, but in this cafe, we can face some major issues if we go back in time and our coffee gets cold before we return to present. Like a nice cup of coffee on a rainy day, this book warmed my heart and put a smile on my face.

Before the Coffee Gets Cold is a wonderful, quick read and has four parts to it. The plot has a mysterious cafe where its patrons are able to time-travel but must return before the coffee gets cold. There, we follow along with four different characters wanting to reconcile past arguments, find closure, or assure loved ones.

The book moves slow and is pretty much reliant on dialogue rather than descriptions (something that I enjoy but others may not like), I absolutely fell in love with the little lessons on love and life given by each narrative.
