Questions On A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik

QOTD – After Harry Potter, did you ever go back to fantasy genre? I have been a #potterhead all my life, but I have not really picked up any other fantasy book! Did I grow up, or is it too difficult for me to replace Hogwarts with any other magic school? Do I have to unlearn what I have learnt as a muggle born to … Continue reading Questions On A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik

Reflections | Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling

#QOTD – Which one, according to you, was the scariest Harry Potter book? I know you all will probably say either of book 6 or 7, but personally the Chamber of Secrets gave me the goosebumps. By the time Deathly Hallows happened, Harry had grown up and fought a lot of bad guys, and seen a lot of deaths. ….because it’s 1st September!

#QOTD – Which Hogwarts subject was your favourite? I think I was in Grade 5 when I first picked up the Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone. It is the first shop encountered when entering Diagon Alley from the Leaky Cauldron. It is owned and run by Madam Potage. A branch of the shop is also located in Knockturn Alley. My First Christmas At Hogwarts

In each of the seven Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling treats us to a glimpse of Harry’s Christmas holiday. And, let’s face it, as Hogwarts is one of the best literary locations ever, Hogwarts at Christmas time is really something special. Of course that’s not to say that Harry’s Christmases are always idyllic. And what better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by … Continue reading My First Christmas At Hogwarts

Owl Post To The Ravenclaw Tower

This is one of the best mails that I have received in a while! All thanks to Shelly Kim and Samantha! I love the concept here of owls between Hogwarts students, from one house to another! I love the stationery that they have used. The Hogwarts emblem on a vintage paper which has torn edges – Perfect! Then there is the imaginary address – C6 … Continue reading Owl Post To The Ravenclaw Tower
