#QOTD – Did you have to study moral science in school?

Panchatantra by Vishnu Sharma

I had to and the favourite part of this subject for me was having to read the Panchatantra stories. Childhood memories of our teachers narrating stories of the talkative tortoise or how the jackal tricked the wolf and the lion may seem cloudy now, but we still carry the moral lessons highlighted in these animal fables.

Here I am, travelling back in time and exploring the ancient collection of the Five Tantras and falling back in the sweet embrace of reminiscence. I never read these stories in continuation before. What I realized is it still is an insanely fun book and I could read it in just moments and it left me laughing and pensive.
