Books Before Bookstagram

Processed with VSCO with m5 presetHello fellow bookworms!

The other day, while rearranging my bookstore, I saw my Harry Potter books and realized that I have never posted a Harry Potter review on my bookstagram! And this tag made me realize there are so many books from before bookstagram time! I have to get them all in here!

And then I was tagged by@isleofbliss for #BooksBeforeBookstagram – Perfect timing!

Anyway lets jump in to the tag questions –

Q. What was the first book you read ?
A. My first abridged book was Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. I read that when I was 9 years old. My first unabridged one was The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle.

Q. When did you start reading?
A. I am reading since I have learned to read. But, I think since when I started with Harry Potter, I have never looked back!

Q. Where did you get book recommendations?
A. All my bookish knowledge comes from my sister. She used to hand me the book, and read them out loud for me as well. In fact, she was the one who came in one day with the Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and said, “Read this one! You’ll love it!”. I still lookout for book recommendations!

Q. Which books were your favourite ?
A. Harry Potter | Enid Blyton | Little Women

Q. What inspired you to join #bookstagram?
A. My love for photography and my need for bookish discussions!

Q. What changed after you joined #bookstagram?
A. So much has changed. I write a review for almost everything I read. That gives me a different perspective while reading. My book recommendations come from the amazing bookstagrammers I follow. My photography framing skills have improved. And most importantly, I have met my kind of people!

So what are your books before bookstagram? I would love to know all about them!
