Review: Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf

DvUWMBMWoAUbmyQChristmas time calls for something English! This holiday takes me back to the warm cozy feeling in England! What’s better than going around London with Mrs Dalloway by Virginia Woolf on this day!

It’s a nice summer day in London, and Clarissa Dalloway is out planning her party, in a simple manner. Buying flowers, walking in a park, and visiting an old fried. She is the connection for every character in the story.
It’s amazing how two characters in the novel were in love with a person of their own sex, and both repressed their loves because of their social situations. Both are insecure, but it is their choice that defines them in the final moments of the novel — one chooses life, while the other chooses death.
