In all the four stories she conjures up in this collection, there is a certain simplicity, an element of everyday. At heart, the stories mean well. While there is a strong theme of feminism in each of the “fictional’ protagonists, the underlying intentions make the collection a good read. Khanna’s language is easy on the senses, with the occasional humor filling up the space perfectly. Twinkle Khanna is a funny, smart woman and as a columnist or blogger she is fantastic – I follow her on Twitter and I assure you that is a fun ride! I loved Mrs Funnybones, but that is from a columnist, and she does not have the story telling craft in her!
