Review: The Smugglers’ Caves and Other Stories by Enid Blyton

Smuggler's CaveA cute collection of Enid Blyton stories, that I enjoyed it for it’s simplicity. After all the thrillers this year, I needed a book that reminds me of hot coffee and rainy days. It helped me escape from my routine life into a world that belongs to me and has every element of my childhood fantasies. It is about a far more innocent time I guess. Enid Blyton always takes me into the magical world with all the pixies, boys and girls, excitement, and a desire to solve a mystery. Although, I didn’t like ‘The Smugglers Caves’ story as much as the other stories. And in the end I realized, I still love Enid Blyton! After all she was one of my favourites as a child!
